Motorola became the world’s first smartphone brand to commercially unveil a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphone. The Moto Edge X30 launched in China a little while ago and, so far, we have been waiting for its global and Indian launch. Turns out we won’t have to wait for too long now, as the brand has started teasing the arrival of its new Edge smartphone in the global market, which would most likely be the Moto Edge X30 in one form or the other (we can expect a renaming to happen).
Let’s take a look at Motorola’s latest teaser and find out what’s in store for us.
Moto Edge X30 Global Launch Teased
Motorola is prepping for a February 24 global launch of its next Edge-series smartphone. Though the brand has not explicitly revealed the moniker, it’s safe to assume that it’d be the Moto Edge X30 launching in the global market on the aforementioned date.
That being said, there are chances of a potential renaming, but the specifications of the renamed device are likely to be more or less the same as that of the Moto Edge X30.
In any case, if the upcoming Moto Edge device is indeed the Moto Edge X30, we can expect it to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 50MP + 50MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup, a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of onboard memory, and Android 12 out of the box.
