Ever since Google released Android 12, brands have gradually started rolling it out to their devices. While some brands such as Samsung have been fairly aggressive with the Android 12 rollout, there have been some, which are taking their own sweet time to do the same. Motorola, being one of the latter, has had its users longing for the Android 12 OS to arrive at their smartphones. Thankfully, the brand has rolled it out to its Moto G Pro, and even though it’s surprising to see Motorola starting things out with a relatively old, mid-range smartphone that launched in 2020, it’s good news, and we can expect other Motorola smartphones to follow suit.

The latest Android 12 update for the Moto G Pro has the firmware build number S0PR32.44-11-8. It comes with the usual Android 12 Material You design elements, a new Privacy Dashboard, and a few other key changes.
The update has so far gone live only in the UK, but we can expect the brand to make it available to the other regions in the coming days. If you are residing in the UK, you can keep an eye on the latest Android 12 update on your Moto G Pro’s notification tray, as it is an OTA (Over The Air) update. The update should ideally arrive in the next couple of days on your smartphone. To check if the update is available for you, you can navigate to Settings > System > Advanced > System Updates to manually check for the update. As for the users residing elsewhere, sadly, waiting is the only option for now.
