[Exclusive] Motorola Moto G42 Price in India Revealed Ahead of July 4 Launch

Motorola is all set to launch the Moto G42 in India on July 4, 2022. The device already debuted in the European markets earlier this month and is soon making its way to India. Flipkart’s landing page for the phone is already live, hinting that the smartphone would be sold via the said e-commerce platform exclusively.

Now, Onsitego has exclusively learned about the Moto G42’s price in India through industry sources. Let us take a closer look at the Moto G42’s pricing, storage/RAM variants, colour options, and everything else we know so far.

Motorola Moto G42 Price in India

According to our sources, the Moto G42 has a box price of ₹16,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It will be the only variant that will be put up on sale in India. The smartphone will be available in two colour variants: Atlantic Green and Metallic Rose.

Motorola Moto G42 Specifications

The Motorola Moto G42, which debuted globally is expected to carry the same specifications in India. The handset packs in a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the G42 will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot.

A 5,000mAh battery powers the phone and supports 20W TurboPower fast charging. As for the cameras, the Moto G42 has a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the phone has a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The handset runs on Android 12-based My UX skin out of the box and comes with stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos.

The handset also has an IP52 rating for a water-repellent design and weighs 174.5grams. Motorola says that the phone features a PMMA Acrylic glass finish and promises three years of assured security updates to the smartphone.
