Moto G51 5G with Snapdragon 480+ SoC Launched in India: Price, Specifications, Availability

Just a couple of weeks ago, Lenovo-owned Motorola had launched the Moto G31 smartphone in India. Now, the company has launched another mid-range G-series handset, dubbed the Moto G51 5G, in India. As the name suggests, the latest Moto handset brings 5G connectivity to the table and is the cheapest 5G-enabled handset from the brand in India to date.

It comes with a large 120Hz display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 50MP camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery unit. Let us take a closer look at the price, specifications, features and availability of the Moto G51 5G in India.

The Moto G51 5G will be available only in one memory-storage configuration—4GB RAM + 64GB storage. It is priced at ₹14,999 and will go on sale starting December 16th exclusively via Flipkart.

The Moto G51 5G offers a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixel) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display makes room for the front shooter inside a centered punch-hole notch. The device is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ processor that is built on an 8nm fabrication process and brings with it an Adreno 619 GPU. It packs 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS storage. The latest Moto G-series handset comes pre-loaded with Android 11.

Moving on to the cameras, the Moto G51 5G features a triple-rear camera setup and a LED flash. The primary sensor on the handset is a 1/2.76-inch Samsung JN1 50MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 0.64um pixel size. Accompanying it is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 118-degree field-of-view and f/2.2 aperture. The ultra-wide-angle lens also doubles as the depth sensor. The device also happens to pack a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 13MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Moto G51 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 20W fast-charging support. It has a USB 2.0 Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, dual-SIM, 2.4GHz + 5GHz WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and GPS. It offers 12 5G bands including n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n77, and n78. The handset measures 170.47 x 76.54 x 9.13mm and weighs 208grams. It also has an IP52 splash-resistant rating. The device is available in two colors—Indigo Blue and Bright Silver.
