Moto S30 Pro With 6.5-inch OLED Display, Snapdragon 888 Plus Processor Launched: Price, Specifications

Alongside the Moto Razr 2022 and the Moto X30 Pro, Motorola has also introduced the Moto S30 Pro in China. The launch of these devices was scheduled for August 2, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, the launch event was canceled.

When it comes to the specifications, the Moto S30 Pro has a 6.5-inch OLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. Furthermore, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP52 rating, and a 50MP triple-camera setup. Let us take a look at the pricing and detailed specifications of the handset.

Moto S30 Pro Pricing, Availability

The Moto S30 Pro is priced at CNY 2199 (roughly ₹25,925) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage costs CNY 2699 yuan (roughly ₹31,815). The top-end model costs CNY 2899 yuan (roughly ₹ 34,175). It comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage model.

The device will be available for purchase in China starting from today. Interested buyers purchasing the handset in the first sale can get a discount of CNY 200 (roughly ₹2,360).

Moto S30 Pro Specifications, Features

The Moto S30 Pro sports a 6.55-inch OLED display that has Full HD+ 2400×1080 pixels resolution. The display panel has HDR10+ support, up to 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and DC Dimming support. The device has an AG glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 888 Plus 5G SoC which is paired with an Adreno 660 GPU. The smartphone packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. On the software side of things, the S30 Pro runs Android 12 out of the box.

The back of the device features a triple-camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera unit with autofocus for the macro option, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front of the phone includes a 32MP camera which is accommodated inside the punch-hole cutout at the center. Furthermore, the handset has a USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, 11-layer VC cooling with an area of 23831.89mm², an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, and an IP52 rating. 

Connectivity-wise, the device offers features such as 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC support. The device packs a 4,400mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging.
