Motorola has unveiled a new budget Android tablet, dubbed the Moto Tab G62, in India. The tablet is launched in Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants. The new Motorola tablet features a massive display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, an 8MP main camera, and a 7,700mAh battery among other features. On the other hand, the LTE variant of the tablet comes with a price tag of ₹17,999. The Moto G62 comes in a single Frost Blue colour variant. The tablet will go on sale starting from August 17, 2022 via Flipkart in the country.

The Moto Tab G62 features a large 10.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a 2K resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Considering the price point, it sports fairly thin bezels. Powering the new Moto tab is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The internal storage on the device is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. In terms of software, the Moto Tab G62 boots Android 12L operating system out of the box.

For photography, the tablet offers an 8MP rear camera. For selfies and video calling, the device features a 5MP front camera on the side bezel. The Moto Tab G62 comes powered by a 7,700mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging over a USB Type-C port. For audio, the newly launched Motorola tablet gets a quad-speaker setup to offer an immersive multimedia experience.
In terms of connectivity, the Moto Tab G62 sports a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. It also comes with features such as a special reading mode, multiple user accounts, and Google Kids Space.
