The Motorola Edge 20 was launched last year in 2021 in many markets including India. Now, the Lenovo-owned company is seeding the Android 12 update to its upper mid-range device. The Edge 20 was launched with Android 11 OS out of the box and was promised to receive two major Android OS updates and two years of security updates.
Motorola is pushing out an Android 12 stable update to the Motorola Edge 20. As per reports, the update rollout has already begun in Brazil. The firmware version is S1RG32.53-18-11 and will be supported by the XT2143-1-DS variant. The rollout will be happening in a phased manner and might take some time to reach your devices. If you don’t receive the notification for the update, you can check for it manually via Settings > System > Advanced > System Updates.

Moto Edge 20 Highlights
The Motorola Edge 20 sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz screen refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with Adreno 642L GPU. It is equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of camera, it gets a 108MP primary sensor, accompanied by a 16MP ultra-wide shooter and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Selfie duties are handled by the 32MP snapper at the front.
Other noteworthy features include 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth v5.2, USB Type-C port, fingerprint sensor, and more. The smartphone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery under its hood coupled with 30-watt fast charging support.
