Motorola Edge 30 India Launch Date Revealed
According to a tweet posted by Sharma, the Motorola Edge 30 will be announced on May 12th in the country. The handset is claimed to be the world’s thinnest 5G smartphone and the first handset in the Indian markets to be equipped with the Snapdragon 778G+ 5G SoC.
Motorola Edge 30 Specifications (Expected)
The Motorola Edge 30 coming to India is likely to have the same specifications as the global variant. The phone might pack in a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G+ SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone could run Android 12 out of the box.
Motorola might opt for a triple-camera setup comprising of a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 118-degree field of view and a tertiary 2MP depth sensor. On the front, chances are that the Edge 30 has a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Fueling the handset could be a 4,020mAh battery that supports 33W TurboPower fast charging. The pricing remains a mystery for now. However, considering that the phone is priced at EUR 450 globally, we expect the smartphone to debut somewhere in the ₹30,000 to ₹34,999 price range in the country.
