Motorola has launched two new smartphones in India today – the Moto G60 and the Moto G40 Fusion – through a virtual event. Both smartphones fall in the mid-range price category and give a tough competition to the Redmi Note 10 series and Realme 8 series devices. The Moto G60 and the Moto G40 Fusion share a lot of features. The main differentiating factor between both the devices is the primary camera at the rear.

It is the only memory configuration on offer. The phone is available in two color options, Dynamic Gray and Frosted Champagne.
On the other hand, the Moto G40 Fusion price in India is Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. There is also a 6GB+128GB version on offer. It costs Rs 15,999. Motorola is offering the device with the same color options as the Moto G60, that is, Dynamic Gray and Frosted Champagne.
The Moto G60 will go on sale in India on 27th April, whereas the Moto G40 Fusion will go on sale in the country on May 1 exclusively from Flipkart. The company is offering a Rs 1,500 instant discount on the Moto G60, and a Rs 1,000 instant discount on the Moto G40 Fusion if you make the payment using ICICI Bank credit and debit cards.

The Moto G60 features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, support for HDR10, and a punch-hole mounted on the top-center portion of the screen.
The standout feature of the Moto G60, however, is its triple-camera setup at the rear. It has a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP depth camera. For selfies, you get a 32MP sensor.
Powering the Moto G60 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system with Motorola’s My UX customization. The brand says that the OS has a “Near-Stock” Android experience.
The device packs a 6,000mAh battery and it supports 20W charging. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G with VoLTE and VoWiFi, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
The Moto G40 Fusion has the same feature set as the Moto G60 but with two changes. The first one is that the Moto G40 Fusion has a 64MP primary camera at the rear instead of a 108MP sensor. The second differentiating factor is that the front-facing camera of the Mot G40 Fusion is a 16MP unit compared to the 32MP sensor in its sibling.
