Motorola launched the entry-level tablet—the Moto Tab G20 back in September in India. Now, the company is gearing up to launch a new tablet—the Moto Tab G70 in the Indian market. Earlier this morning, a micro-site went live on flipkart.com revealing some of the key specifications of the upcoming Motorola tablet. Going by the specifications, the Moto Tab G70 appears to be a mid-range tablet. The upcoming Tab G70 will be a multimedia-focused device as it packs a 2K resolution display and a quad stereo speaker setup. Let us take a closer look at the upcoming Moto Tab G70.
Moto Tab G70 Specifications and Features
The Moto Tab G70 will offer an 11-inch TDDI LCD display with a 2K (2,000 x 1,200 pixel) resolution and 400nits peak brightness. It also features TUV certification for eye protection and is capable of streaming HD content on Netflix and Amazon Prime Videos. The back panel of the tablet is made of an aluminum alloy and features a dual-tone finish.
Powering the tablet will be an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor that is fabbed on a 12nm fabrication process. The Helio G90T comes coupled with Mali G76 GPU clocked at 800MHz. The Flipkart landing page also confirms that the Moto Tab G70 will be offered in 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage configuration. In addition to 64GB onboard storage, users will also have an option to expand the storage further up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

Under the hood, it will have a 7,700mAh battery unit with 20W rapid charging support. The tablet will offer a Type-C charging port, a quad stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, and a dual-mic setup with DSP smart voice. It will also feature an IP52 rating that makes it splash-resistant.
The Moto Tab G70 will come pre-loaded with Android 11 and offer features such as Google Kids Space, and Google Entertainment Space. It measures 258.4 x 163 x 7.5mm, weighs 490g, and comes in Modernist teal color. On the connectivity front, it will offer 2.4GHz + 5GHz WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 5.1. The company will also launch an LTE variant of the Moto Tab G70.
