Motorola Razr 2022 Foldable Smartphone Goes Global: Price, Specifications

Following its August release in China, Motorola has now made the Razr 2022 foldable smartphone available in global markets. The smartphone has the same specifications including the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, a larger secondary display, and more. The device, however, is more expensive in the global market.

The Motorola Razr 2022 is available in only one Satin Black colour option and costs €1,199 (about $1193 or ₹98,990) in Europe and £949.99 (about $1,090 or ₹89,990) in the UK. Sales have already started in both locations.

The Motorola Razr 2022 has two screens: an exterior 2.7-inch FHD+ GOLED screen protected by Corning’s newest Gorilla Glass and an interior 6.7-inch FHD+ foldable POLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, along with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The smartphone’s frame is made of 7000-grade aluminium with a matte finish, and the hinge has been completely rebuilt to be significantly stronger. The Motorola Razr 2022 has a primary 50MP sensor with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens to help in imaging. A 32MP sensor, on the other hand, is responsible for selfies. Other features on the handset include an IP52 rating, Android 12 out of the box, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, dual 5G support, and a 3,500mAh battery with 30W TurboPower fast charging support.
