Netgear Nighthawk AX6000 (EAX80) and Nighthawk AX1800 (EAX20) Wi-Fi 6 range extenders are now available in India. These come with a design similar to a mini PC and get two internal antennas to extend your Wi-Fi range at home or offices. Both the models are backwards-compatible with older Wi-Fi generations (11b/g/n/a/ac). The Nighthawk Mesh extenders work under the same username as your existing Wi-Fi, for added convenience. The Nighthawk AX6000 EAX80 has the capability of delivering up to 6Gbps of combined Wi-Fi 6 speeds. The Nighthawk AX1800 (EAX20) delivers a modest 1.8Gbps in comparison. Both models utilise the OFDMA technology for efficient data transmission.

The Netgear Nighthawk AX6000 (EAX80) range extender is powered by a 64-bit 1.8GHz dual-core processor, which ensures lag-free 4K UHD streaming and gaming. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and is backwards compatible with Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 4 and older generations. The range extender gets highly powerful antennas concealed inside its body. The fact that it is an eight-stream extender lets you connect more than 30 devices such as mobile devices, wireless speakers, IP cameras, IoT devices, gaming consoles etc. The Nighthawk AX6000 (EAX80) model comes with four 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports coupled with auto-sensing tech. There’s a USB 3.0 port available as well. The company says that it is suitable for large houses with up to six bedrooms.
The Netgear Nighthawk AX1800 (EAX20) is a four-stream mesh range extender and supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It comes with two highly powerful antennas concealed in its desktop like body. While the EAX80 is an eight-stream extender, the AX1800 (EAX20) is a four-stream extender. You can connect up to 20 devices with it simultaneously. It is powered by a 64bit 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The extender comes equipped with four 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports with auto-sensing technology. According to Netgear, the EAX20 would be apt for small to medium-sized houses with up to four bedrooms.
