CES 2022: Stealth Fighter Plane-Inspired Netgear Nighthawk RAXE300 Comes With Wi-Fi 6E

Wi-Fi 6E is going to be the most sought after feature for most wireless systems in 2022. Adding to the list is the new Nighthawk RAXE300 tri-band Wi-Fi 6E router from Netgear. The ‘Nighthawk’ in its branding suggests that it is inspired by Lockheed Martin’s F117 Nighthawk stealth fighter plane. The router is capable of delivering up to 7.8 Gbps speeds owing to the 6GHz band it operates on. This will also avoid congestion from other 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks in your area.

Last year, Netgear’s Nighthawk RAXE500 won the CES 2021 Innovation Award. Now, the company has introduced its latest router Nighthawk RAXE300 at the ongoing CES 2022 held in Sin City, Las Vegas, hoping to taste success again. 

Netgear Nighthawk RAXE300 Wi-Fi 6E Router Features, Specifications

The wings of the spaceship-like Nighthawk RAXE300 router can be folded inside. It comes in a stealthy black paint job as on the F117 Nighthawk fighter jet. It boasts eight Wi-Fi streams, which is a key highlight of the Nighthawk range of routers. It enables the router to provide Gigabit+ Wi-Fi speeds covering up to 2,500 square feet of area. The router comes with a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port that can be utilised to connect an internet modem, LAN, or a high bandwidth device. 

The Nighthawk is also loaded with additional five Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections to other home devices and IoT hubs. The Nighthawk RAXE300 joins its sibling RAXE500, and the Netgear Orbi Quad-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E (NBK 752) system to provide compatibility to upcoming smartphones, AR/VR headsets, and other devices, which come with Wi-Fi 6E in-built.

The Netgear Nighthawk RAXE300 Tri-band WiFi 6E router will be available in the first quarter of 2022. It can be purchased via Netgear’s official website and offline resellers at a price tag of USD 399.99 (approx. ₹30,000).
