Netgear RAX10 Wi-Fi 6 Router Launched In India: Price, Specs

Netgear has introduced its latest RAX10 Wi-Fi router in India. The RAX10 is a 4-Stream AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 router for those on a budget. Almost all the latest 2022 smartphones, laptops, tablets, and upcoming devices come with Wi-Fi 6. To offer support to such devices, Netgear has launched its new router capable of delivering wireless throughputs of up to 1.8Gbps.

The Netgear RAX10 appears similar to the Netgear Nighthawk XR1000 Pro Gaming Wi-Fi 6 (AX5400) router which was launched last year. The company says the RAX10 is 100 percent backwards compatible with older devices. It comes with four times the capacity and 40 percent faster data throughput than older models, which lacked Wi-Fi 6. The RAX10 boast of three high gain antennas and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. It certainly has an upgraded processor when compared to the triple-core processor of the Nighthawk XR1000 Pro. This allows the router to provide simultaneous dual-band 2.4GHz + 5GHz data throughput that can reach up to 600Mbps + 1200Mbps. 

The router can handle four simultaneous streams of Wi-Fi 6. Up to four AX compatible devices will be able to view 8K UHD videos or play games without lag. Additionally, up to four of your AX-compatible devices can easily enjoy up to 8K UHD videos or lag-free gaming. You can even transfer files at blazing fast speeds. The router is compatible with any internet service via cable, satellite, fiber, DSL etc. For wired connections between computers, streaming players, gaming consoles, or other devices, it comes with 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, which are four LAN and one WAN. 

The Netgear RAX10 comes loaded with Netgear Armor, which promises to protect your data and devices from viruses and malware. The Netgear Smart Parental Controls can be utilised to protect your kids from the dark side of the internet. The Nighthawk app allows you to set up your internet connection in a few minutes. It lets you tinker with the Wi-Fi settings at the device and network levels. You can also run internet speed analysations and keep a tab on data usage via this app on the fly.
