New Leak Showcases Oppo A97 5G In Three Colors

Oppo is preparing to debut a new A-series smartphone. The handset was previously discovered in a listing on China Telecom’s website, which revealed its key specifications. EvLeaks has now leaked detailed renders of the smartphone, which show the Oppo A97 5G in three colour variations from all angles. Let’s take a closer look at the Oppo A97 5G, specifications, features, design and everything we know so far.

As per the images shared by Blass, the Oppo A97 5G can be spotted in three colour options – Black, Pink and Blue. The rear of the smartphone appears to be flat, with a huge rectangular camera module with a glossy finish surrounding the camera lens. The power button on the right side also serves as a fingerprint scanner. At the bottom, adjacent to the USB-C connector and speaker, there’s a headphone jack.

Oppo A97 5G Specifications

Oppo’s upcoming A-series handset sports a 6.56-inch display that is likely to be an FHD+ panel. The screen refresh rate remains unknown for now. The smartphone will be fuelled by a 5,000mAh that may be complemented by 33W fast charging. For optics, Oppo has opted for a 48MP primary camera that is paired with a 2MP secondary lens on the rear.

On the front, the phone has an 8MP unit for selfies and video calls. According to China’s telecom listing, the Oppo A97 5G with 12GB RAM would be priced at CNY2,299 (~ ₹27,250). The colour options could be named – Quiet Night Black, Deep Sea Blue, and Colourful Cherry Blossom. The handset will be offered in two RAM + storage options – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants.

That said, there’s currently no word from the brand on whether the Oppo A97 5G will make its way to India. We expect to learn more about the smartphone as time passes.
