Nokia PureBook S14 Is Its First Windows 11 Laptop

Did you know that Nokia, known for its smartphones, also sells laptops in India? It started off with the Nokia PureBook X14 laptop that was launched last year. It was manufactured and marketed by Flipkart under license from Nokia Technologies. Now, Flipkart has started teasing a new laptop named Nokia Purebook S14 on its website ahead of its Big Billion Days 2021 sale. Let us have a look at what feature additions it brings to the table compared to the last year’s laptop.

Nokia Purebook S14 Specifications

According to a report, Nokia PureBook S14 is expected to feature a magnesium and aluminium construction, similar to the Nokia PureBook X14. However, it is said to be heavier by 300 grammes when compared to the PureBook X14, which was quite light at just 1.1kg. As its name suggests, the PureBook S14 will come with a 14-inch IPS display with Full HD 1080p resolution. The bezels surrounding its screen are fairly minimal as it gets an 82% screen-to-body ratio.

The PureBook S14 will be powered by Intel’s 11th Gen Core i5 processor with an integrated Iris XE GPU. It is set to be one of the first laptops in India to come with the Windows 11 Home version out of the box. The notebook will come with 8GB RAM and 16GB RAM options and a 512GB NVMe SSD. The laptop is equipped with a single USB 3.1 Gen-1 Type-A port, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, an HDMI port, and a microphone+headphone combo jack.

Standard wireless connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are present as well. The laptop’s speakers support Dolby Atmos audio for an immersive experience. Expect a similar 8 hours of battery backup as the PureBook X14.

Nokia PureBook S14 Price In India

The Nokia PureBook S14 price in India is ₹56,990, and it will go on sale starting October 3, 2021, via Flipkart. Last year’s Nokia PureBook X14 is now available for ₹49,990. One can even opt for the Realme Book (Slim), which is priced at ₹56,999 and comes with similar specifications albeit with Windows 10 operating system out of box and can be updated to Windows 11 for free.
