Nothing Phone 1 India Launch Happening Soon, Phone Gets Certified By BIS

Nothing had recently confirmed the arrival of its first-ever Android smartphone—the Nothing Phone (1). While the brand is gearing up for a summer launch, there has been little information available about the device on the internet. Meanwhile, a new leak has popped up that confirms that the India launch of the Nothing Phone (1) is not too far. According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the smartphone is in its final stages of internal testing in India. The tipster has even spotted the device on the BIS certification website. Let’s take a look.

Nothing Phone (1) Phone Gets Listed On BIS: India Launch Imminent

As seen in the tweet above, Sharma claims that the Nothing Phone (1) is in its final stages of internal testing in India. He further adds that the batch production of the device has begun in various Eurasian countries. However, he has not mentioned any specifics related to the countries in his tweet.

Adding another tweet, Sharma posted the BIS listing of a Nothing smartphone with the model number, Nothing A063, which will most likely be the Nothing Phone (1). The BIS listing of the Nothing Phone (1) hints that the India launch of the smartphone must be nearing. However, the listing fails to elaborate on the specifications and features of the upcoming device.

Nonetheless, the brand recently confirmed that interested buyers can get their hands on the device this summer via Flipkart in India. Nothing founder, Carl Pei, also recently posted a date on Twitter in response to a query about the Nothing Phone (1) official launch date.
