A battery production facility and innovation center are being built by Ola Electric Mobility in preparation for the anticipated car launch. According to reports, the company is developing three different electric car types, one of which will be on sale in 2023. The company’s founder and CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, tweeted a confirmation of some of this information.
Bhavish Aggarwal tweets, “We’re going to develop the sportiest automobile ever made in India!” He displayed a picture of a Li-ion battery that he states was built in India. Ola Electric is continually enhancing the features of its electric scooters alongside expanding its product line.

MoveOS is the core operating system running their S1 Pro electric scooter. Hill hold, proximity unlock, moods, regen v2, hypercharging, calling, and key sharing are just a few of the features that will be available in MoveOS 3. It will be available to users this Diwali, according to Aggarwal.
The OLA CEO also posted a video to Twitter showing the beta testing of a future “Moods” feature that would be included in MoveOS 3 on their electric scooters. This feature allows the user to replicate the sound of an internal combustion engine on a scooter. The sound comes from the in-built speakers on the scooter and is tied to the throttle. This function will give users a nostalgic feel while riding.
