OnePlus just shared that it will announce the OnePlus 10T 5G smartphone globally at an in-person launch in New York City on August 3, 2022. The company has also confirmed that OxygenOS 13 will launch alongside the OnePlus device. This will be the first Global OnePlus in-person launch since the start of the pandemic.

The OnePlus 10T 5G, the company’s upcoming flagship product, expands the idea of performance beyond speed by incorporating important technologies. The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and the company’s exclusive 150W rapid charging technology.
Other specs on the phone include a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole in the center to accommodate the 16MP front camera. It gets up to 16GB OF LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and ships with Android 12 out of the box with OxygenOS 12.1 on top. In terms of imaging, the 10T 5G retains the same camera setup as the OnePlus 10R 5G. The handset packs a triple camera setup on the rear with a main 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with support for OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP monochrome sensor.
The OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T will first receive the eagerly anticipated OxygenOS 13 ROM, which will be released alongside the smartphone. According to early rumours, OxygenOS 13 will be based on Android 13 and will resemble the ColorOS 13 releases quite a bit. “The new operating system is committed to delivering the signature OnePlus fast and smooth experience with a refreshing design and enhanced safety,” the company claimed in a statement while announcing this.
The OnePlus 10T and OxygenOS 13 launch event on August 3 starts at 7:30 PM IST and will be live streamed on the company’s YouTube channel.
