Alongside the OnePlus Ace, the Chinese smartphone giant OnePlus has also launched a couple of new audio products—the OnePlus Buds N TWS and OnePlus Cloud Ear Z2 neckband. The OnePlus Buds N is an affordable addition to the company’s TWS lineup and is expected to make its debut in global markets under the Nord series.
The OnePlus Cloud Ear Z2 is the rebranded OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 for the Chinese market. Let us take a closer look at the OnePlus Buds N and the OnePlus Cloud Ear Z2 Neckband price, specifications, and features.
OnePlus Buds N and OnePlus Cloud Ear Z2 Price and Availability
The OnePlus Buds N and the OnePlus Cloud Ear Z2 are both priced at RMB 199 which translates to around ₹2,350. These products will be available for purchase starting April 26 in China.
OnePlus is yet to announce the global availability of the Buds N. However, the Buds N is expected to launch as the OnePlus Nord Buds in India on April 28.
OnePlus Buds N Specifications and Features
The OnePlus Buds N packs 12.4mm dynamic drivers that are specifically tuned for a rich bass experience. The Buds N supports a 20-20,000Hz frequency response rate and offers 98dB driver sensitivity. Although the OnePlus Buds N support Dolby Atmos, it works with select OnePlus devices (OnePlus 7 and later) only. It makes use of a dual-microphone setup for noise cancellation during calls.
The OnePlus Buds N relies on Bluetooth 5.2 technology to connect with smartphones. It also supports OnePlus Fast Pair with select OnePlus devices (OnePlus 6 and later). The OnePlus Buds N also offers a gaming mode with 94ms latency, but it works with select OnePlus smartphones.
The OnePlus Buds N supports gestures and users can play/pause music playback, answer/reject calls, and jump between tracks using gestures. The OnePlus Buds N (earbuds) feature an IP55 rating that makes it sweat and water-resistant.
Each earbud of the Buds N packs a 41mAh battery unit that lasts for seven hours on a single charge. On the other hand, the charging case packs a 480mAh battery unit and provides up to 30 hours of music playback on a single charge. The OnePlus Buds N supports fast charging and can last for about five hours on a 10-minute charge.
The OnePlus Buds N comes in two colour options—Moonlight White and Twilight Black. The charging case measures 67.9 × 35.5 × 28.68mm and weighs about 50grams. Each earbud weighs about 4.8grams and measures 27.76 × 20.72 × 23.49mm.
