A few weeks ago, OnePlus had unveiled the OnePlus Buds Pro alongside the OnePlus Nord 2. The OnePlus Buds Pro are the beefed-up versions of the company’s first-generation truly wireless earphones, the OnePlus Buds. The OnePlus Buds Pro were already available for purchase in select markets, but not in India. Now, the OnePlus Buds Pro have been launched in India, and the company has announced their pricing.
The OnePlus Buds look similar to the Apple AirPods Pro, and come with similar features, including faster pairing, ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), spatial audio, and wireless charging. However, they are priced much lower, and they compete with OPPO Enco X, Galaxy Buds 2, and Nothing Ear 1.
OnePlus Buds Pro Price in India And Availability
The OnePlus Buds Pro price in India is ₹9,990. The OnePlus Buds Pro comes in two colour variants: Black and White. These wireless earbuds will go on sale in India via Amazon, OnePlus.in, and OnePlus Experience Stores and partner sites starting August 26, 2021.
OnePlus Buds Pro Features, Specifications
The OnePlus Buds have a stem-like design, similar to the AirPods Pro, and they come equipped with silicone ear tips. Each earbud weighs 4.35 grammes, while the case weighs 52 grammes. The OnePlus Buds Pro have ‘Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation’ that uses three microphones to monitor external noise. The feature then intelligently produces noise-canceling counter frequencies which block out noise from 15db up to 40db. Apart from these, the earbuds also have wind and noise reduction for crystal clear calls. The Buds Pro is equipped with an 11mm dynamic driver to offer rich bass.
The OnePlus Buds Pro has a Bluetooth 5.2 chip for strong wireless connections. These wireless earbuds also have SBC, AAC, and LHDC audio codecs. However, the LHDC codec, which is similar to Sony’s LDAC codec, are featured in very few smartphones. Even OnePlus’ own smartphones released last year don’t support this high-resolution Bluetooth codec. They have lower latency of 94ms for improved audio experience while gaming and watching videos.
As for the battery life, the OnePlus Buds Pro can deliver 7 hours battery life without ANC and 5 hours battery life with ANC. The Buds Pro also has Warp Charge to offers 10 hours of battery life with just a 10-minute charge. Apart from this, the Buds case also comes with Qi wireless charging, but it charges at 2W compared to the 10W that you get with wired charging. Other features include an IP55 rating for earbuds, an IPX5 rating for the case, fast pairing support (OnePlus 6 and newer OnePlus phones), and OnePlus Audio ID.
