OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord Core Edition handset earlier this year. The handset was a toned-down version of last year’s OnePlus Nord 5G. Recently, a new OnePlus handset with the codename Ivan surfaced on the web. If rumours are to be believed Ivan is the codename for the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 CE.
A few days ago, the specifications, pricing, and launch timeline details of the upcoming Nord 2 CE were leaked. Now, in a new development, the renders of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G have surfaced, courtesy of 91mobiles and Yogesh Brar. Let’s take a closer look at the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G design, renders, and leaked specifications.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE Design and Renders
The leaked renders showcase a design language similar to that of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. The handset will come with a bezel-less display that will house the front selfie shooter inside a punch-hole notch. The top left corner of the back panel will make room for a triple-rear camera setup inside a rectangular module.
The left edge of the handset will house the SIM card slot and volume rocker, while the power button will reside on the right edge. The Nord 2 CE will come with a 3.5mm audio jack that will be located on the bottom edge along with the speaker grill, primary microphone, and Type-C charging port. Whereas, the secondary microphone will reside on the top edge.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE Specifications and Features
The OnePlus Nord 2 CE is said to offer a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is said to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and up to 12GB of RAM. It might boot OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12.
The OnePlus Nord 2 CE is said to be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery and 65W fast charging support. The device might come with a 64MP OmniVision sensor which will be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. It is said to pack a 16MP front selfie shooter.
The Nord 2 CE could be the company’s first handset to offer a dedicated micro-SD card slot. Similar to its predecessor, the Nord 2 CE won’t feature the alert slider.
