OnePlus Nord Buds Truly Wireless Earbuds Announced in India: Price, Specifications

Along with the OnePlus 10R 5G and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, OnePlus also unveiled the OnePlus Nord Buds, their first Nord-branded TWS, in India. The OnePlus Nord Buds are a low-cost addition to the company’s TWS collection, which currently includes the OnePlus Buds Z, Z2, and flagship Buds Pro versions.

OnePlus Nord Buds Price and Availability

The OnePlus Nord Buds come in two colour options—Black Slate and White Marble. The buds cost ₹2,799 in India and will go on open sale starting May 10.

OnePlus Nord Buds Specifications and Features

The 1OnePlus Nord Buds feature 2.4mm titanium dynamic drivers which are optimised for a deep bass experience. These have a frequency response rate of 20-20,000Hz and a driver sensitivity of 98dB. They also support Dolby Atmos , but only on specific OnePlus devices (OnePlus 7 and later). During calls, the Nord Buds incorporate a quad-mic system for AI Noise Cancellation.

The OnePlus Nord Buds feature Bluetooth 5.2. The OnePlus Fast Pair is available on a limited number of OnePlus smartphones (OnePlus 6 and later). One of its standout features is the 94ms low latency option for gaming. These include gesture support, allowing users to use movements to play/pause music, answer/reject calls, and jump between tracks. The Nord Buds can be attached to a non-OnePlus smartphone via the HeyMelody app, which allows users to select one of three listening modes—Bass, Serenade, or Bold.

The IP55 rating of the OnePlus Nord Buds makes them sweat and water-resistant. Each bud contains a 41mAh battery that lasts seven hours on a single charge. The charging case, on the other hand, has a 480mAh battery unit and can provide up to 30 hours of music playback on a single charge. The Nord Buds feature fast charging and have a battery life of around five hours on a ten-minute charge.

The OnePlus Nord Buds are available in two colours—White Marble and Black Slate. The charging case measures 67.9 x 35.5 x 28.68mm and weighs around 50grams. Each earbud weighs around 4.8g and measures 27.76 x 20.72 x 23.49mm.
