OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, OnePlus 10R & Nord Buds Launching In India On April 28

OnePlus has confirmed the release date for their upcoming budget and upper-midrange smartphones. The brand released a teaser with silhouettes of two phones and a pair of truly wireless buds. According to our findings, the smartphone with the blue silhouette is likely the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, which is expected to be released later this month. The smartphone next to it in the red silhouette is likely the OnePlus 10R 5G, codenamed Pickle, and the TWS are the OnePlus Nord Buds.

The brand’s grand launch is set to take place on April 28 at 7 p.m. IST with the tagline ‘More Power to You’. OnePlus stated during their launch event that they hope to further deepen the brand’s dedication to empowering the community with faster charging technology, design, and innovation, allowing them to achieve more and create more with greater productivity and creative flow. This validates the brand’s intention to introduce the much-discussed 150W charging in the country. Additionally, the moniker of a new mystery product, OnePlus Ace has also been spotted that is being speculated to make its way into global markets as well.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Specifications

According to the reported specifications, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will be a sub-₹20,000 smartphone with a 6.59-inch Full HD+ LCD panel and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC and would support up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone will no longer have the standard Alert slider and will instead have a fingerprint sensor on the side.

On the optics front, we can expect a triple rear camera configuration with a main 64MP Omnivision sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP shooter on the front will take care of selfies. The device will run Android 12 out of the box, with the current OxygenOS build on top, and will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

OnePlus 10R Specifications

The OnePlus 10R will be the company’s first smartphone to offer 150W charging. It will have a 6.7-inch sAMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. It will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and it will run Android 12 with the most recent OxygenOS build on top.

The phone will have a triple back camera array with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP monochrome device on the front. A 16MP selfie camera will be placed in the center-punch hole on the front of the OnePlus 10R. When it comes to battery life, the phone will be equipped with a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 150W rapid charging.

OnePlus Nord Buds Specifications

The OnePlus Nord Buds will be the first pair of TWS to bear the Nord branding, and they may be available at a reasonable price. The buds were leaked as a result of an FCC listing that revealed some specifications. They will have a 41mAh battery on each side, while the charging case would have a 480mAh battery. The buds will be available in two colours—black and Nord blue, and will include 6mm drivers. There’s still no news on whether they will offer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), but given that they’re part of a budget line, we’re not holding our breath.
