Last year, OnePlus and Oppo announced their merger, and since then there has been a slew of new launches by OnePlus. The company is expected to bring more products to the market soon, and we could see the first ever tablet from OnePlus. According to a report, the OnePlus Pad has entered the production line and could make an appearance soon. Also, tipster Shadow_Leak shared the specifications of the upcoming tablet on Twitter. It may come with a high screen refresh rate of 120Hz, which should provide a flicker-free and fluid experience. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset from 2020, but still is a terrific performer. It will be equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There may be higher variants with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
When it comes to the camera, the OnePlus Pad will come with a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor at the rear. For selfie duties, it will get an 8MP snapper at the front.
The tipster says it won’t come with an in-display fingerprint sensor but will make do with a physical side-mounted fingerprint reader. It will come with Bluetooth v5.1 and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The OnePlus Pad will be powered by a massive 10,090mAh battery. It will be coupled with 45-watt fast charging support. It will run on Android 12L OS, which is specifically built for tablets and foldable devices.
The tablet could launch sometime in the first half of this year. According to the tipster, the OnePlus Pad could be priced at CNY 2999 (approx. 36,000) for the 6GB + 128GB storage model. However, these are just rumours and we suggest you take it with a grain of salt.
