Oppo A11s Budget Smartphone Comes With a 90Hz Display

Oppo has added a new smartphone, the Oppo A11s to its budget A series of smartphones in China. The Oppo A11s will succeed the ageing Oppo A11, which has been in the market for two years. Despite being a budget offering, the handset comes with a high refresh display, triple camera setup, and a massive 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone has received a complete design overhaul when compared to its predecessor. Let’s have a detailed look at what it offers.

Oppo A11s Features, Specifications

The Oppo A11s ditches the dreadful ‘V’ type notch for a more contemporary left-aligned punch-hole display. It sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD with 269 PPI and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. The screen comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and can achieve a peak brightness of 480 nits making it comfortable to view even under harsh sunlight. 

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 chipset with Adreno 610 GPU. It is equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. 

On the photography front, it boasts of a 13MP primary shooter accompanied by a virtually useless 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras. There’s an 8MP front-facing sensor for selfie addicts. 

The Oppo A11s gets a 5000mAh battery under its hood coupled with 18-watt charging support, which was considered as fast charging in 2018. Other notable features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. This is a 4G phone with dual SIM functionality. The handset runs on ColorOS 7.2 on top of Android 10. 

Oppo A11s Price, Availability

The Oppo A11s with 4GB + 64GB is priced at RMB 999 (approx. ₹11,400) and goes up to RMB 1,199 (approx. ₹14,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The phone is available through both online and offline channels in China. There’s no word about its India launch yet.
