Oppo has added yet another smartphone to its A-series lineup in India. The entry-level Oppo A16K was launched a couple of months back in Phillippines and is a toned-down version of the Oppo A16. You still get a Helio G35 processor, but with a smaller 4,230mAh battery. The handset will compete against the likes of Redmi 9 Activ, POCO C3, Realme C21, and more. Oppo A16k Price in India, Launch Offers, and Availablity

The Oppo A16K retails in a 3GB + 32GB configuration in the country. It is priced at ₹10,490 and will be up for grabs via major online and offline channels starting today. Bank of Baroda Credit Card holders can avail 10% instant discount on the purchase of the Oppo A16K from the Oppo India Online Store. The handset is available in three colour variants—white, black, and blue.

The Oppo A16K flaunts a 6.52-inch LCD display with an HD+ (1,600 × 720 pixel) resolution, 269ppi pixel density, and 480nits brightness. It has a 60Hz refresh rate panel that comes with a 60Hz touch sampling rate. The display features a waterdrop notch which helps the handset achieve about 89.27% screen-to-body ratio. It is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer.

Powering the 16K is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor, which isn’t exactly the latest processor available. It comes paired with an IMG GE8320 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, and eMMC 5.1 storage. The device boots Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 skin on top.

The Oppo A16K features a 13MP rear shooter with an 80° field of view, f/2.2 aperture, and autofocus support. For selfies, it offers a 5MP shooter with 76° field of view and f/2.4 aperture. It is equipped with a 4,230mAh battery unit and 10W charging support. It has a micro-USB charging port, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Oppo A16K supports the face unlock feature but lacks a fingerprint scanner. It weighs about 175 grams and measures 164.0 × 75.4 × 7.85mm. In terms of connectivity, it offers Dual-SIM, 4G, VoLTE, 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.
