OPPO A17 Renders, Specifications Leak Ahead Of Launch

OPPO appears to be preparing to introduce a new A-series smartphone, the OPPO A17, soon. The device will arrive as a successor to the OPPO A16 which made its debut back in July 2021. While we wait for the launch of the A17, we have its specifications and renders coming in courtesy of leakster Evan Blass, in collaboration with 91Mobiles. According to the renders, the OPPO A17 will resemble the A16, except for a major change at the back of the phone.

OPPO A17 Renders Revealed

As per the leaked images, we can see that the OPPO A17 will have a leather textured back panel and a flat edge design. The front of the handset will include a water-drop-shaped notch that will house a selfie camera. The phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The handset will have a dual-rear facing camera accompanied by an LED flash. As per the leaked renders, the device will debut in three colour options–orange, black, and sky blue.

OPPO A17 Specifications Leaked

Apart from the renders, we also have the specifications of the device coming in ahead of launch. The OPPO A17 will be powered by an octa-core Helio G35 processor. This is the same SoC that OPPO has used in the A16. Furthermore, the phone will pack 64GB of internal storage. The whole package will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The rest of the key specifications of the device such as its display size, camera configuration, and RAM options details still remain unknown.

As of now, OPPO has not revealed any plans regarding the launch of the OPPO A17. However, the report indicates that the OPPO A17 will debut by the end of this month.
