Oppo A74 5G launched in India at Rs 17,990: Specifications, offers

The Oppo A74 5G made its debut earlier this month in Thailand. Today, the smartphone has been launched in the Indian market. The announcement comes just a day after the brand launched the Oppo A54 5G in the country. It is worth mentioning that the Oppo A74 5G that has been launched in India has slightly different specifications compared to the one launched in Thailand.

Oppo A74 5G price in India, offers

The Oppo A74 5G is available in India in only one memory configuration, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The phone costs Rs 17,990 in the Indian market. The phone will go on sale in the country on April 26th from Amazon India and Oppo’s authorized online and offline retail channels.

Oppo is offering a few of its wearables at a discounted price with the Oppo A74 5G. People purchasing the phone from online stores (Amazon) will get Oppo Enco W11 for Rs 1,299, Oppo Band for Rs 2,499, and Oppo W31 for Rs 2,499. They will also get a 10% discount on credit and debit cards from select banks. There is a 5% discount on the smartphone for people purchasing the phone from offline stores.

Oppo A74 5G specifications

The Oppo A74 5G has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with LTPS technology. The display has a Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 480 nits brightness. The phone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. The SoC is built on the 8nm fabrication process. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The device runs on the Android 11 OS with ColorOS 11.1

The smartphone has three cameras at the rear. The primary camera has a 48MP resolution. The secondary camera is a 2MP ultrawide unit. The third camera is a 2MP macro lens. The front-facing camera of the smartphone resides in the punch-hole on the display; it has an 8MP resolution.

The Oppo A74 5G has a 5,000mAh battery and the device supports 18W charging. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for you to keep the device safe. The connectivity options of the smartphone include dual-SIM 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
