OPPO Band 2 Spotted On EEC And BIS Certification Websites, Launch Imminent

OPPO is reportedly gearing up to launch a new wearable, dubbed the OPPO Band 2, in India and other markets. The alleged smart band was recently spotted on Indonesia’s NBTC website. In a recent development, it has been spotted on the EEC and BIS certification websites. While the listings don’t reveal much about the upcoming OPPO smart band, they confirm the moniker and hint that the OPPO wearable might launch soon.

OPPO Band 2 To Launch Soon: Specifications

According to a tweet from tipster Mukul Sharma, the OPPO band has been listed on multiple certification websites. The smart band was spotted on Russia’s EEC database bearing the model number OBBE215, which suggests the moniker “OPPO Band 2″. As per the listing, the wearable will come with a 5Vdc 0.5A power rating.

Furthermore, the OPPO Band 2 has been spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website with the same model number. As mentioned earlier, the smart band was previously spotted on Indonesia’s NBTC website with the same name but a different model number.

Notably, the smart band’s existence was confirmed by tipster Digital Chat Station. He revealed that OPPO was working on launching two new wearables—the OPPO Watch 3 and OPPO Band 2. The recent listings don’t reveal any specifications of the upcoming OPPO Band 2. However, we can expect the wearable to feature NFC, SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen level monitoring, and more.

The OPPO Band 2 will arrive as a successor to the previous generation OPPO Band. While the company hasn’t revealed any information on the launch of the OPPO Band 2, it expected to launch by the end of this month.
