Oppo Enco Buds 2 With 10mm Drivers, 28 Hour Backup Launched: Price, Specifications

Oppo has added the new Enco Buds 2 to its TWS earphones portfolio in India. The Enco Buds 2 earphones come as a successor to the original Enco Buds, which were launched back in 2021 in India. They offer 10mm large sound drivers, Enco Live Stereo Sound Effects, Dolby Atmos, AI deep noise cancellation algorithms, Bluetooth v5.2, low latency mode, IPX4 rating, and fast charging, among other features.

The Oppo Enco Buds 2 are an in-ear type wireless earphones with long stems, as opposed to the stem-less design of the Enco Buds. This should help in a better sound pickup during calls. The earbuds sport 10mm drivers with a titanium diaphragm, which are claimed to offer enhanced treble and punchy bass compared to the smaller 8mm ones on the previous iteration. Oppo has included its proprietary Enco Live Stereo Sound Effects and Dolby Atmos surround sound support. 

The Oppo Enco Buds 2 come with Bluetooth v5.2 for stable wireless connectivity. The Smart Connect feature allows quick pairing by tapping on the pop-up prompt window on their smartphones. Furthermore, they come with an Open-up flash connect feature that enables automatic pairing whenever the case is open and disconnects the instant the case is closed. 

For an enhanced calling experience, the earbuds feature AI deep noise cancellation algorithms that simulate binaural hearing. With the help of a Deep Neural Network (DNN), it tracks human voices and separates them from unwanted noises in real-time. Latency is a huge concern with TWS earbuds. The Oppo Enco Buds 2 comes loaded with a 94ms low latency Game mode that promises an interference and disconnection-free gaming experience. 

You can make use of the HeyMelody app on your smartphone to customise its touch controls, check battery levels, and other functions. The earbuds come with a nifty feature which allows you to control the phone camera by just double-tapping on the earbuds. In terms of battery backup, these earbuds reportedly offer up to seven hours of standalone playtime and up to 28 hours of combined backup with the case. Fast charging them for 10 minutes will give you about an hour of playtime.

The Oppo Enco Buds2 is priced at ₹1,799 in India. They will be available for purchase via Flipkart and Oppo stores from August 31, 2022. They come in a single black colour option.
