After releasing the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update for a few devices in the past, OPPO has started its ColorOS 12 Private Beta program for a host of its mid-range smartphones. According to OPPO community forum posts, the brand has released the ColorOS 12 closed beta program (invite only) to its OPPO F19 Pro, OPPO F17 Pro, OPPO Reno5 G, and OPPO Reno4 F devices. Let’s take a look at the latest update for the said devices and find out how you can sign up for the beta program.

Post this, you’d have to tap on the Apply for Beta Version option and follow the prompts to apply from your smartphone. If your application is approved, you will receive a notification alongside the OTA update to download and install the latest beta build.
For the first batch, OPPO will approve as many as 2,500 testers for each device that we have mentioned above, so if you are willing to test the latest ColorOS 12 update on your eligible OPPO device, you might want to hurry up.

It is worth noting that beta updates are prone to bugs and failures, so it is always recommended to backup important data on the phone before hitting the update button. After all, there are always chances of data loss because of compatibility issues or other unforeseen circumstances. Further, if the application quota is full, you can wait for the next round to receive the ColorOS 12 update on your OPPO device.
