OPPO Pad Air Receives BIS Certification, Indian Launch Imminent

Not too long ago, OPPO took the wraps off the OPPO Pad Air tablet in China. So far, the tablet has been made available only in the brand’s home country, but it seems that the OPPO Pad Air might soon launch in India as well. According to a new leak, the OPPO Pad Air has been certified by the Indian BIS certification authority, which hints that the tablet might soon launch in India as well.

OPPO Pad Air Visits BIS, Coming Soon To India

As spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the OPPO Pad Air (model number OPPO OPD2102A) has recently visited the Indian BIS certification. Though a BIS listing does not guarantee a launch, it still opens the door for the product to be commercially available in the country, so we can very well expect the OPPO Pad Air to launch soon in India.

OPPO Pad Air Specifications

Starting with the display of the device, the OPPO Pad Air has a large 10.36-inch 2K panel with a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a 225PPI pixel density. Powering the OPPO Pad Air is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, which is paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB expandable storage.

Coming to the cameras of the device, the OPPO Pad Air sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. In terms of battery, the OPPO Pad Air has a 7,100mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The tablet features quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and USB Type-C audio support. Connectivity features of the OPPO Pad Air include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C. The tablet measures 245.08×154.84×6.94mm and weighs 440 grams.
