Oppo launched its Reno 8 series of smartphones in its home country, China, back in May 2022. The series comprises three models namely the Oppo Reno 8, Oppo Reno 8 Pro, and the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+. Ahead of the launch, we have got hold of the real-life pictures of the vanilla Oppo Reno 8 5G, which will be launched in the Indian market soon.
The hands-on images of the Indian variant of the Oppo Reno 8 5G were shared by tipster Mukul Sharma. Going by the images, the device appears similar to the Chinese variant. Even the processor, cameras, and fast charging support specs are similar. The Oppo Reno 8 will launch alongside the Oppo Reno 8 Pro in India on July 18, 2022. Oppo Reno 8 5G: Features, Specifications
The vanilla Oppo Reno 8 5G comes with a polycarbonate build. It gets a left-aligned hole-punch camera cutout on the display. The screen-to-body ratio of this device is 84.7 percent, and the bottom chin is relatively thick. The Oppo Reno 8 5G sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 409 PPI, and 800 nits of peak brightness.
The device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, which is a refreshed version of last year’s Dimensity 1200 processor. The Dimensity 1300 also does duty in the recently launched OnePlus Nord 2T in India.
