Oppo Reno7 Z 5G With Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 Processor and 4,500mAh Battery Launched: Specifications, Features

Oppo has added yet another smartphone to its Reno7 lineup—the Oppo Reno7 Z 5G. The latest Reno7 series handset makes its global debut in Thailand. The smartphone features a flat edge design similar to its elder sibling—the Reno7. The Oppo Reno 7Z has circular LED notification lights around the camera module which the company calls Dual Orbit lights.

The smartphone offers an AMOLED display and a 64MP camera setup. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and a 4,500mAh battery. Let us take a closer look at Oppo Reno7 Z 5G specifications and features.

The Reno7 Z features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ (2,400 × 1,080 pixel) resolution, 409ppi pixel density, and 600nits peak brightness. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel that supports a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display houses the front selfies shooter inside a punch hole notch which is located on the top left corner. There is also an optical in-display fingerprint scanner on the handset.

Powering the latest Reno7 series smartphone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor that is fabbed on a 6nm process. The system on chip brings with it an Adreno 619 GPU, X51 5G modem, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS2.2 storage. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with ColorOS 12, based on Android 11.

The Reno 7Z features a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash. The primary shooter on the smartphone has a 64MP sensor with an F1.7 aperture. It is accompanied by a 2MP macro and a 2MP monochrome lens. For selfies and video calls, it relies on a 16MP front shooter that has an F2.4 aperture.

The Reno7 Z is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery unit and supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of connectivity, it offers dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, AGPS, Beidou, Glonass, and Galileo.

The Reno 7Z comes in two colour options—Cosmic Black and Rainbow Spectrum. The Cosmic Black variant measures 159.85 × 73.17 × 7.49mm, while the Rainbow Spectrum variant measures 159.85 × 73.17 × 7.55mm. The smartphone weighs about 173grams.
