OPPO has launched the OPPO Reno8 4G smartphone today in the Indonesian market. The newly launched Reno8 4G is the fourth device by OPPO in the Reno 8 series, as the company had previously debuted the vanilla OPPO Reno8 5G, Reno8 Pro 5G, and the Reno8 Pro+.
The Reno8 4G is a toned-down variant of the Reno8 5G and offers a slightly different design as that of the 5G model. When it comes to the specifications, the Reno8 4G is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor. The device features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, 64MP triple-camera setup, a 32MP selfie cam, and a 4,500mAh battery.
OPPO Reno8 4G Pricing, Availability
The OPPO Reno8 4G is priced at IDR 4,999,000 (roughly ₹26,900) in Indonesia. The phone comes in Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black colourways and it is already available for pre-order. The open sale of the device in Indonesia begins from August 26, 2022. The device is also expected to launch in India soon. However, as of now, OPPO has not revealed details regarding the availability of the device for the Indian market.
OPPO Reno8 4G Specifications, Features
The OPPO Reno8 4G sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that has Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device has a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner which houses the selfie camera. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor. The System On Chip includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone boots ColorOS 12.1 skin on top which is based on Android 12 OS.

The device is backed by a 4,500mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging over the USB Type-C port. Lastly, the device also has 5GB of Virtual RAM support and a fingerprint sensor for security.
