There has been a slew of gadget launches in September 2021 and it looks like consumer electronic brands aren’t done launching new devices yet. OPPO has launched its new budget OPPO Watch Free smartwatch alongside the OPPO K9 75-inches smart TV in China. The OPPO Watch Free gets a rectangular display and carries a polycarbonate build with silicone straps. With a starting price of CNY 549 (around ₹6,300), it is certainly not ‘Free’ and if wireless payments are your thing, the NFC version will set you back by CNY 599 (₹6,800).

The screen covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and has a pixel density of 326ppi. The company wants its users to be carefree while using this smart fitness band as it weighs only 32.6 grammes and is water-resistant up to 50 metres. The Watch Free comes with a 6-axis motion sensor along with the vital optical heart rate and optical blood oxygen sensors.
The OPPO Watch Free gets all the essential activity and fitness tracking features such as daily activity, sedentary reminders, and sleep monitoring. It comes with 100+ sports modes and can track up to 6 activities—walking, running, cycling, swimming, elliptical machine, and rowing machine—automatically. Additionally, it is also equipped with a snoring monitor, which allows the users to listen to recorded snores to make life better for themselves and others. The ‘E-Sports’ mode transfers all the notifications to the watch allowing the user to play uninterrupted competitive gaming on their smartphone.
With just 5 mins of charging it can last an entire day of usage as it comes with fast charging technology and a 230mAh battery. OPPO claims it can go for 14 days straight if fully charged.
The OPPO Watch Free is available for pre-booking on JD.com and will be on sale in China from September 30, 2021. It can is available in two colours: Quick Sand Gold and Silent Night Black.
OPPO K9 75-inch Smart TV Specifications, Price
A couple of months ago, OPPO had launched its 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch versions of the K9 Smart TV in China. Now, to please the “bigger is better” crowd, it has launched the 75-inch version of its D-LED K9 Smart TV. It has minimal bezels around the display, leading to a 95% screen-to-body ratio along with a viewing angle of 178 degrees. The display gets HDR10+ certification and covers 93% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
It is powered by a MediaTek quad-core CPU and comes equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB Type-A ports, and 30W speakers with support for Dolby Audio.
The 75-inch variant of the OPPO K9 Smart TV is priced at CNY 5,799 (around ₹67,000) in China, and it will be available for purchase from September 30, 2021.
