Well known consumer electronics company, Philips, has expanded its 2000 series air purifier line-up in India with the addition of its latest multi-functional air purifier boasting a three-layer HEPA filtration system in India. The system promises to eliminate up to 99.95 percent of particles as small as 0.003µm.
WHO (World Health Organization) states that about seven million people die globally every year from air pollution. Also, life expectancy has taken a major hit due to the rising air pollution levels. India is now considered the second most polluted country in the world. The air quality in cities like Delhi takes the worst hit during winters due to industrial pollution and crop burning. Hence, companies like Philips, Dyson, Mi etc. are churning out air purifiers more than ever, intending to provide fresh air to Indians.

Philips 2000 Series Air Purifier Features, Specifications
The Philips air purifier is made of moulded plastic and adorns a metallic black finish. The company says it is apt for rooms measuring up to 220 sq. ft. The purifier stands 59cm tall and lightweight. The Philips 3-in-1 multifunction air purifier provides three-speed fan settings—7.5W, 16W, and 25W. This air purifier might be useful if you live in cold regions of India as it comes with three-speed heat settings—1250W, 1500W, and 2200W.
The air purifier offers a clear air delivery rate of up to 165 m³/hour. It is fitted with a HEPA filter, which promises to get rid of up to 100 percent pollutants, bacteria, and viruses. The onboard air quality sensor detects and analyses the particles in the air and displays its numerical values and other information. The colour LED panel also displays the temperature, air quality, and PM2.5 count in real-time.

The Philips 3-in-1 Air Purifier is priced at ₹32,995 in India. It will be available on Philips’ official website soon. The company is offering a 10 percent discount on the product.
