Philips TAT4506BK is the latest addition to the true wireless earphones lineup of the Dutch brand in India. The wireless earphones market is growing exponentially in India and Philips doesn’t want to miss the opportunity. The Philips TAT4506BK wireless earphones boast of a stealthy matte black paint job with Philips branding. Each earbud weighs just 50 grams. They come with 10mm drivers which promise an enhanced sound output. The Bluetooth v5.0 allows seamless and reliable connectivity within 10 metres. It supports A2DP, HFP, AVRCP profiles, and SBC audio codec.  

The Active Noise Cancellation feature of the earphones aids in reducing the outside ambient noises. It also gets an awareness mode, also known as transparency mode, which allows outside noises to filter in if you want to have a conversation with someone in person. You can activate this mode on the fly by just long pressing on the earbud. Once you remove your finger, the awareness mode will be deactivated and the ANC mode will take over. The touch controls on the earbuds help you to take calls, perform various music functions, and activate the voice assistant on your smartphone. 

The Philips TAT4506BK earbuds come with an IPX4 rating. This means it is devoid of any dust resistance but gets a water resistance feature to protect it against splashes of water or sweat. The earphones offer up to six hours of music playback on a single charge, which can be extended to an additional 18 hours via the charging case. You can charge the earbuds via the supplied USB Type-C cable in under two hours. A quick 15-minute charge is said to deliver up to an hour of music playback.
