POCO F3 GT Android 12 based MIUI 13 Update Rolling Out in India

POCO India launched the POCO F3 GT handset back in July 2021. The handset came preloaded with MIUI 12.5, based on Android 11. Now, the company has started rolling out Android 12 update for the smartphone in the country. With this, the POCO F3 GT becomes the first POCO handset to get the Android 12 update. POCO F3 GT Android 12 update also brings the latest version of Xiaomi’s proprietary Android skin, MIUI 13, along with it.

POCO F3 GT MIUI 13 update comes with firmware version MIUI 13.0.0.10.SKJINXM and brings January 2022 Android security patch to the device. Let us take a closer look at the features and changes that the update brings to POCO F3 GT.

POCO F3 GT Android 12 based MIUI 13 Changelogs and Features

MIUI 13 brings with it an array of under the hood changes including the Smart Balance, Liquid Storage, Atomized Memory, and Focused Algorithm. Xiaomi has also introduced an all-new Sidebar with the MIUI 13 which basically lets users open an app in the floating window mode. MIUI 13 will enable about 10 percent more battery life according to the company.

The latest version of MIUI also brings a few new Super Wallpaper to the compatible devices. The update also brings an updated Game Turbo which now offers Balanced and Performance modes. POCO F3 GT Specifications and Features

POCO F3 GT flaunts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixel) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Powering the handset is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor which is built on a 6nm fabrication process and comes with an integrated Mali G77 GPU.

The F3 GT offers a triple-rear camera setup including a high-resolution 64MP primary shooter. The primary sensor on the device is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, the handset offers a 16MP shooter. The handset is equipped with a 5,065mAh battery and 67W fast charging support.
