POCO Global is back with its newest product, the POCO F4 GT, after a brief hiatus. The smartphone will be announced in global markets on April 26. Last year, the company released the F3 GT, which was effectively a rebadged Redmi K40 Gaming Edition that’s only available in China. Thus, the F4 GT might be a rebadged Redmi K50 Gaming Edition that’s also only available in China.
In addition to the Poco F4 GT, the company announced that its first AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) products will be released soon. Although there is no news on what this device will be, we believe it will be their first set of truly wireless buds.
POCO F4 GT Specifications
The POCO F4 GT could likely be a rebranded Redmi K50 Gaming Edition smartphone. It is expected to come with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It might be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage.
On the optics front, the phone will have a triple camera setup on the rear, with a main 64MP sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, we might get to see a 20MP selfie shooter.
