POCO M4 Pro 5G India Launch Teased

POCO has started teasing the launch of a new handset in the Indian market. The company took to social media channels to share the first teaser for the upcoming launch. The teaser highlights the number 4 which hints towards the POCO M4 Pro handset, which was launched back in November in the global markets.

The POCO M4 Pro is a rebranded Redmi Note 11 5G (Chinese variant) and is also available as the Redmi Note 11T 5G in the Indian market. Let’s take a look at the teaser,

The company hasn’t confirmed the India launch date for the device yet. However, we can expect the company to launch the POCO M4 Pro within the next 2-3 weeks in the country.

POCO M4 Pro Specifications and Features

The M4 Pro 5G features a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), a 90Hz refresh rate with the DynamicSwitch feature. The DynamicSwitch feature lets the device adjust the refresh rate automatically between 30Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz, based on the content on the screen.

Powering the M4 Pro is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor fabbed on TMSC’s 6nm process. The system on chip brings with it an integrated Mali G57 GPU, up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The handset boots Xiaomi’s proprietary MIUI 12.5, based on Android 11.

The M4 Pro offers a dual-camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor. Accompanying it is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies and video calls, the handset offers a 16MP shooter inside a punch-hole notch.

The M4 Pro comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast-charging support. It offers a USB Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and an IR port. The M4 Pro weighs 195grams and measures 163.56 x 75.78 x 8.75mm. The handset retails in three colour options—Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow.
