Razer, a Singaporean-American gaming PC hardware brand recently held the RazerCon 2021 event. It was the company’s first-ever carbon-neutral online event. During the event, the company announced that it is venturing into the PC components industry with the launch of AIO (All-In-One) liquid coolers, PC case fans, and PSU (Power Supply Units). Razer is aspiring to go against industry majors like Cooler Master, Corsair, and Lian-Li with the introduction of its new products. Some of the products come with Razer’s logo with Chroma RGB lighting and that can be customised via the Razer Synapse app. Let us have a look at some of the PC components Razer has unveiled at RazerCon 2021.
Razer Hanbo Features, Availability

The company partnered with Asetek, which specialises in making liquid cooling components, to manufacture this all-in-one cooler. The Razer Hanbo adorns the Razer Chroma RGB lights to attract gamers. It comes with an adjustable pump cap that can be adjusted 360 degrees for perfect configuration in any PC case. The Razer Hanbo will come in 240mm and 360mm radiator sizes. Razer hasn’t revealed its prices yet but is expected to go on sale in November 2021.
Razer Kunai Features, Price, Availability
Razer Kunai PC fans can be added to your gaming rig to keep its temperatures in check. It comes in two variants in 120mm and 140mm sizes. The 120mm variant spins at speeds of up to 2,200rpm and the 140mm one spins at a slower 1,600rpm. These fans use blade technology that is claimed to be inspired by elite military aircraft. They have high static pressure cooling to provide efficient and silent cooling. Of course, they have addressable LEDs for maximum bling. You can daisy chain up to eight Razer Kunai fans and control them via the Razer Synapse app. The RGB Chroma LED system can reproduce 16.8 million colours and comes with various lighting patterns and effects.
The Razer Kunai PC fans will be available for pre-order on Razer’s website from October 28, 2021, onwards in the US. The 120mm variant is priced at $44.99 (around ₹3,375) and the 140mm version is priced at $49.99 (around ₹3,750).
Razer PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Features, Price, Availability
To control the Razer Kunai or any other PC case fans, you would need a PWM unit. Razer’s PWM unit can control up to eight fans. Sadly, the PWM doesn’t come with any RGB lighting. It comes with a magnet, making it easy to install inside your PC cabinet. The PWM can be accessed via the Razer Synapse app, which lets you control fan speeds. It comes with SATA power connectors to attach your fans. It also comes has a microUSB 2.0 port to connect it to your PC.
The Razer PWM will be available for pre-order starting October 28, 2021. It is priced at $49.99 (around ₹3,750).
Razer Katana PSU Features
The Razer Katana PSU offers performance with style as it comes with an 80+ Platinum rating and addressable RGB lights. The Razer Katana gets high-quality Japanese electrical components that promise efficient and sustained power supply, less heat, and lower power consumption. Its RGB fan can go as low as zero RPM for a stealthy operation. It will be available in a variety of capacities ranging from 750W to up to 1600W.
Razer is expected to start shipping its Katana PSUs in early 2022. The company is not taking pre-orders for it as of now, with the prices still undisclosed.
