Realme 6 Pro and Realme 7 Pro Are Getting Android 11 Update in India

The Realme 6 Pro and the Realme 7 Pro were launched in India last year with the Android 10 operating system. Today, Realme has announced on its forum that the company is rolling out a new software update to the Realme 6 Pro and the Realme 7 Pro in India. The new update brings the Android 11 operating system and Realme UI 2.0 customization to these devices. With the new firmware, the Realme 6 Pro and the Realme 7 Pro gain a lot of new software features. The update also brings a plethora of bug fixes to these devices for a better user experience. Realme 6 Pro and Realme 7 Pro are getting Android 11 with Realme UI 2.o

The Realme 6 Pro is receiving the RMX2061_11.A.49 firmware, whereas, the Realme 7 Pro is getting the RMX2170PU_11.A.37 software update. The new firmware of both smartphones is being rolled out in a phased manner. It means that Realme will roll out the update in batches. So, a few users might get the update now and a few may receive it later.

• You can now create your own wallpaper by picking colors from your photos.

• Third-party icons for apps on the home screen are now supported.

• Three Dark mode styles are available: Enhanced, medium, and gentle; wallpapers and icons can be adjusted to Dark mode; and the display contrast can be adjusted automatically to ambient light.

• You can now drag text, images, or files out of a floating window or from one app to another app in Split screen mode.

• Optimized the editing page of Smart Sidebar: Two tabs are displayed and the order of items can be customized.

• Added “Optimized night charging”: An AI algorithm is used to control charging speed at night to extend battery life.

• Added “Tone tunes”: Consecutive notification tones will be linked to form a single melody.

• You can now determine a time period when Do Not Disturb is on.

• Added weather animations to provide you with a more interesting experience.
