If you own the Realme 8, which was launched in early 2021, you can experience the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 via the Early Access program. However, to enrol in the program there’s a prerequisite that your device needs to be on the latest firmware version RMX3085_11.A.24. Bear in mind that this is specifically for the Realme 8 4G smartphone and not the Realme 8 5G variant.
The issue with the announcement is that Realme has just started pushing the RMX3085_11.A.24 update for the Realme 8. On top of it, this will be a staggered rollout, which means that only a few users would be able to join the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access program.

Realme says that it has allocated limited seats for the Early Access program, but hasn’t revealed the exact number. If your device is chosen for the update you will receive the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 beta build via OTA (Over The Air). You must ensure that your Realme 8 is not rooted and there is at least 5GB of free storage available. Also, it is advisable to take a backup before attempting such updates as it could brick your device. Expect some bugs and glitches in the UI as it is not a stable build. Folks who aren’t adventurous enough should wait for the final stable build.
