Realme 9 Pro+ Specifications, Price, Launch Date Leaked

Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ handsets. The company has already confirmed that the Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ will be 5G-enabled handsets. Also, the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G is confirmed to sport the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. The renders and key specifications of the handset were leaked online last week. Now, in a new development, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G India pricing and complete specifications. Let us take a closer look at the details.

Realme 9 Pro+ 5G Specifications and Features

The latest leak reiterates that the 9 Pro+ 5G will sport a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The handset will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor that brings with it an integrated Mali-G68 GPU. The smartphone will be offered in 6GB and 8GB RAM configuration. Users will have an option to choose between 128GB and 256GB of storage.

The 9 Pro+ 5G renders had revealed the presence of a 50MP primary shooter with OIS support. Brar claims that the primary 50MP shooter in the device will be a Sony IMX766 sensor. This is the same sensor that we have seen on various OnePlus devices including the OnePlus Nord 2.

Accompanying the 50MP primary sensor would be an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP sensor. The functionality of this 2MP sensor is not known as of now. For selfies, the upcoming Realme handset will offer a 16MP snapper. The smartphone is said to come in Aurora Green, Sunrise Blue, and Midnight Black colour options.

The 9 Pro+ is said to be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery unit and 65W fast charging support. Brar says that the handset will boot Android 12 out of the box. Similar to other Realme handsets, we can expect the 9 Pro+ to feature Realme UI 3.0 skin on top of Android.

Brar claims that the base variant, 6GB + 128GB, of the Realme 9 Pro+ will cost ₹19,999 or ₹20,999 in India. If it turns out to be true, the Realme 9 Pro+ will undercut the Xiaomi 11i and Vivo V23, both of which sport the same processor. What do you think of the Realme 9 Pro+?
