Realme 9 Pro Series India Launch Set for 16 February

Realme is all set to launch the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ in the global markets on February 15. The company has now confirmed the launch date of the Realme 9 Pro series India. According to the announcement, the Realme 9 Pro and the Realme 9 Pro+ India launch will take place a day after the global launch, on February 16.

The company has also shared a poster for the upcoming launch. The official launch poster reveals that the Realme 9 Pro series handsets will be endorsed by the famous cricketer KL Rahul in the country. The launch poster also showcases the Sunrise Blue variant of the handset in the hands of KL Rahul.

Realme recently revealed that the Realme 9 Pro will feature a light-shift design and the Sunrise Blue colour variant, inspired by the transition of the sky from dusk to dawn. The colour of the handset will seamlessly shift from blue to red and vice versa. This will be Realme’s first attempt at colour-changing back panels.

Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ Specifications and Features

The company has already confirmed some key specifications of the Realme 9 Pro series handsets via the micro-site. The Realme 9 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, and the Pro+ variant will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC.

The Realme 9 Pro series devices will offer a triple rear camera setup. The primary sensor on the Realme 9 Pro+ will be a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilizations support. The Realme 9 Pro+ is also confirmed to offer a 90Hz AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset will support 60W SuperDart fast charging.

The Realme 9 Pro, on the other hand, will come with a 120Hz display which will likely be an IPS LCD panel. The handset will sport a 64MP primary rear shooter and a 5,000mAh battery unit. The smartphone will support 33W Dart fast charging.
