Realme Band 2 With 1.4-inch Display, SpO2 Monitoring, 12-Day Battery Life Launched: Price, Specifications

Realme has launched the successor to the Realme Band: Realme Band 2. Compared to the first-generation Realme Band, the Band 2 offers a bigger display, longer battery life, and a newer design. The Realme Band 2 looks similar to the Honor Band 6. It has a 1.4-inch touchscreen display, blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring support, a water-resistant build, 90 sports modes, and up to 12 days of battery life. Other features of the Realme Band 2 include 50 personalised dial faces, Smart AIoT Control support, Bluetooth 5.1, and heart rate monitoring.

Realme Band 2 Price, Availability

The Realme Band 2 is priced at MYR 139 (around ₹2,500) in Malaysia. The fitness tracker will go on sale in Malaysia through the e-commerce portal Lazada starting from September 20, 2021. As of now, Realme has not revealed the details about the availability of the Realme Band 2 in the Indian market. However, certain leaks claim that Realme will launch this new fitness tracker in India next month.

Realme Band 2 Specifications, Features

The Realme Band 2 sports a 1.4-inch touchscreen display that has 167 x 320 pixels resolution. The display panel offers up to 500 nits of peak brightness. The fitness tracker also supports over 50 personalised watch faces. You also get the ability to add your favourite pictures as watch faces on the band. The Realme Band 2 offers features similar to that of the original Realme Band, and it includes heart rate monitoring, automatic step counter, sleep tracking, water drink reminder, and sedentary reminder. A newly-added feature is the stress measurement and an SpO2 sensor to measure blood-oxygen levels.

This new fitness band from Realme supports 90 sports modes. Initially, only 14 activities including Yoga, Outdoor/Indoor Walk, Cricket, Basketball, Outdoor/Indoor Run, Pool Swimming, and Football will be available. The rest of the workout activities will be added later via an OTA update. The other features of the Realme Band 2 include Smart AIoT Control support, Bluetooth 5.1, and up to 50-metre water resistance. As for the battery life, the Realme Band 2 is claimed to last for up to 12 days on a single charge. The fitness tracker is compatible with devices running at least Android 5.1 or iOS 11 and above. Dimensions-wise, the Realme Band 2 measures 259.8 x 24.6 x 12.1mm and weighs 27.3 grammes.
