Realme Book Prime First Sale On April 13 In India: Price, Specifications

Realme introduced its new laptop, the Realme Book Prime, last week in the Indian market. It is now on sale, as previously promised by the company. The Realme Book Prime comes with a premium aluminium construction, Intel’s 11th Generation processor, 16GB RAM, improved thermal efficiency, a 2K resolution display, improved battery life, and more.

Realme Book Prime: Price, Availability

The Realme Book Prime laptop comes with a price tag of ₹64,999 in India. It comes in a sole 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. You can get it at an introductory price of ₹57,999. HDFC cardholders will get an additional ₹3,000 discount. Also, you can avail an exchange bonus if you purchase it on April 13 and April 14, 2022. The laptop is available for purchase via Realme.com and Flipkart.  

Realme Book Prime: Features, Specifications

The Realme Book Prime sports an Apple MacBook-like design. It comes with an aluminium chassis and dual-fan VC liquid cooling tech that is reported to offer up to 50 percent improved thermal efficiency. This should allow it to sustain performance under heavy loads and also aid in battery efficiency. 

The laptop is very thin, with a thickness of just 14.9mm. It sports a 14-inch Full Vision IPS panel with 2K display resolution. There are minimal bezels surrounding the screen. The Realme Book Prime doesn’t get the latest Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake CPU, but instead makes do with an older Intel 11th-Generation Core i5-11320H processor. Graphics duties are handled by the integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. The Indian version is equipped with 16GB RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. It might introduce the 8GB RAM variant, which is available globally, at a later stage in India. 

The Realme Book Prime, being a premium laptop, doesn’t skimp on features such as a backlit keyboard, a large trackpad, and stereo speakers with DTS audio. Connectivity features include a Thunderbolt 4 port, Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 6, one USB Type-A port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The notebook supports 65-watt fast charging and can be charged via the USB Type-C port. Realme claims the laptop can deliver up to 12 hours of battery backup on a single charge. It runs on Windows 11 operating system out of the box.
