Realme has started rolling out a new software update to the Realme GT Master Edition in India. The new update is still based on Android 11 and brings the November 2021 security patch. The update comes with the firmware version RMX3360_11_A.08 and the OTA update has a file size of around 288MB. Apart from the latest Android security patch, the update also brings several bug fixes and improvements to the Realme GT Master Edition. Several users took it to Realme Community to share the new update. It not only brings the November 2021 Android security patch but also fixes several bugs. It fixes an issue that leads to Wi-Fi getting disconnected while using Wi-Fi 6 routers. The company has also fixed the battery drain issue and the bug that makes the fingerprint icon disappear. The new update also fixes the issue that led to the front camera viewfinder appearing distorted while using WhatsApp.

As always, this is a phased update rollout, so you may or may not receive the update on your unit right away. It might take a few days for the company to release the new software widely to all Realme GT Master Edition users.

The display has a punch-hole-shaped cutout and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor that is built on TSMC’s 6nm fabrication process and comes with the Adreno 642L GPU. It is powered by a 4,300mAh battery and supports 65W SuperDart fast charging.
The Realme GT Master Edition has a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, it uses a 32MP front-facing camera sensor (Sony IMX615). It is equipped with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The handset has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, Hi-Res Audio playback, and Super Linear speaker setup. Connectivity options include a dual-SIM card slot, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC. The handset boots Realme UI 2.0, which is based on Android 11. However, Realme has promised to roll out the Android 12– based Realme UI 3.0 Early Access update to the smartphone in December 2021.
